Kami and I went to Great Basin Fiber Arts fair this weekend. We both got new drop spindles from Greensleeves Spindles, and lots of roving!

After the Demonstration, we had our dye class. We learned to dye plant based fibers.

Dye Class
Kami and I dyed some scarfs, and I also did some socks too. They are still in the dye bath and I get to rinse them shortly so no pictures yet.
After our class Eric came and got us and we went to his parents place. Where we did phott shoot of our loot and had some dinner until Jon came and picked up Kami.

My Loot
I purchased some Skunk from Notlwonk Springs Farm, 3 balls of Blue Face Leister from Jucy Jackson, 2 balls of Corridale from Judy Gunn, 1 braid BFL from Greenwood Fiberworks and a ball of my favorite sock yarn. We also received a skein of yarn for participating in the wool walking.

Kami's Loot
Kami got a new spindle, 2 balls of wool from Judy Jackson, and a ton of white from Notlwonk Springs. She also got a free skein from the wool walking.
We had a great day and loved every minute of it!
